55 Years of Experience – One Clear Message

 In Uncategorized

SPELD NZ is proud to be part of a bipartisan approach to ensure education policy is informed by frontline experience and expertise.

We’ve written to Labour’s Education spokesperson, Ginny Andersen, sharing our insights from more than five decades supporting children, adults, whānau and educators across Aotearoa.

Our message is simple: Structured Literacy and Structured Maths must remain at the heart of teaching.  All students deserve to learn using evidence-based approaches that reflect how the brain learns.

SPELD NZ has been doing this mahi since 1971. We know the dire outcomes when learners’ needs are not met – and we know what’s possible when they are.
