Board Member
I have worked as a senior manager in tertiary education since 1992 and have more than 30 years’ experience in education in New Zealand and overseas. I’m currently working at the NZ Post Primary Teachers Association, Te Wehengarua. I became interested in the work of SPELD NZ when my dyslexic son received assistance from a SPELD NZ Teacher with excellent results. He is now completing his post graduate teaching diploma at Victoria University Wellington. My other son is teaching in Japan. I was Chairperson of SPELD NZ for six years and am keen to keep contributing as a Board member.
