My eldest son has dyslexia and slow processing speed, and in the past, he’s had great support through SPELD NZ. He used to work with a teacher who made a real difference—not just in his schoolwork, but in his confidence too. Next year he’s off to Otago University to study communications and digital marketing so we’re really proud of the work he’s put in with the help of SPELD NZ.

I’m a commercial lawyer with experience across big and small businesses, law firms, and the public sector. Over the years, I’ve worked in areas like media, contracts, commercial law, IT, intellectual property, and financial services.

I spent nine years on the Campbells Bay School Board, including three as Chair. During that time, I focused on future planning, helped shape policies, gave legal advice, and brought an analytical approach to decision-making. I have recently joined the Rangitoto College Board and am looking forward to working through some of the challenges faced by the largest secondary school in the country.

Outside of work, I like to stay active with Pilates, sunny walks, and the occasional gym session. I also love cheering on my boys in their sports (water polo and football) and catching up with friends and family whenever I can.
